Automate your blog post images with Mugshot Bot - lifetime deal ends today

Blogging should be focused on writing great content. But writers, myself included, spend a ton of time creating link preview images to share on social.

I built Mugshot Bot to automate the process across your entire blog. Share your post online and a dynamic image is generated based on the content. All you need to do is add one line of HTML to your site or use the WordPress plugin.

Pro accounts can automate images for their entire blog with just a URL, including color and theme customizations. Free (forever!) accounts need to create images via the web UI first.

I'm running a sale that ends at midnight tonight: 50% off, forever. Lock in a Pro account for $49/year (vs. $108) even when the price goes up.

    Nice! I have something similar for https://www.dynablogger.com on my to-do list for Facebook and Twitter sharing but I haven't implemented yet; at the moment you can attach images for FB/Twitter but I would like an option to generate a default image with the title and short summary. Your images look really nice and I love the simplicity of the service :)

      Very cool! DynaBlogger looks awesome. If you ever feel like outsourcing the images, definitely get touch and we can work something out :D

        Performance wise I think it would be better if it's built in the platform in my case ;)

      Just to add, I took a look at the regular pricing and maybe it's just me, but I think it's pretty high for this feature alone. Just my 0.02 :)

    I'm interested in this, but don't understand how I'd implement it with a line of code with Pro. Can you explain it?

      Sure thing!

      My blog, Masilotti.com, is powered by Jekyll. So in the <head> I set the <og:image> tag to point to Mugshot Bot's servers.

      <meta property="og:image" content="https://www.mugshotbot.com/m?url={{ page.url }}">

      Replace the {{}} with however your CMS does dynamic content and add that to every page. Then, when a page is shared Mugshot Bot automatically crawls the page and creates your dynamic, custom image!

        Ok cool! So I am guessing most if not all platforms check for the meta og:image property when someone posts a link.

        I can def use this for my customers on the blog platform I'm building. Thanks!

          That’s correct! I also set Twitter and Facebook explicitly, just to be safe. But the same code can be used for those.

          A single license only covers one domain, but we can work together on an agency-style license. Send me an email, I’d love to hear how you plan on using Mugshot Bot: [email protected]
