Automated email/sms greetings
Are there any services that provide automated email/sms greetings?
So you upload your customer base (names, emails, birthday date, additional payload) and the app will send a greeting email to a person when a time comes. You can set up sending such emails on birthdays, Easter, New Year, Christmas, any date.
What do you think of the idea?
Most of the email marketing services can do that. Mailchimp is the most popular one. This is a pretty crowded market, 200+ vendors.
Don't hate the idea. Could see that holiday information being supplemented by my own service ;)
At my day job, we have a task system to trigger emails once tasks have been completed, but nothing like you're mentioning.
So do you mean the mentioned solution in this post can be useful?
I'd say so, but as @LukaszWiktor points out, this is evidently done quite a bit and yes, it's a crowded space, for sure.
