Today I finally automated the thing I kept putting off: pulling my own analytics.
Since launch, checking the funnel meant exporting a CSV from GA4 and cross-referencing it against Stripe by hand. Fine once, annoying every day — so I stopped doing it as often as I should've.
Wired Analytics straight into my dev workflow this morning. Now I query real events on demand: paywall views, checkout clicks, all of it, live.
First thing the clean data confirmed: the free scan converts people fine, but almost nobody's clicking through to pay. So yesterday I swapped the core offer — from "a report about your profile" to "your resume, rewritten and ready to use" — betting the problem was the deliverable feeling abstract, not price or trust.
Now I get to watch it happen in real time instead of guessing from a spreadsheet once a week. That alone feels like a win.
