One of the biggest reasons people give me for why they don't blog (or speak or tweet, etc.) is that it feels too promotional. They don't like talking about themselves. It feels gross.

And I totally get that. It can feel gross!

But what they often fail to realize is that if they don't tell their story, someone will tell it for them. And they'll probably get it wrong.
