@ivbran and me were quite happy to see #unused-domains as one of the first hashtags on IH added by @csallen himself!
It validated our idea that we worked on for a while - there is a need for marketplace where makers can give away or sell their spare domains.
You give these domains the chance to be developed by another fellow maker who shares the same or similar vision while you save money for domain renewal fees, win-win.😃
With mindset of "from makers to makers" we've decided to put a limit on the domain price to a maximum of $ 199.
At the moment we only show a list of the domains and do not act as an intermediary between the buyer and the seller. We require seller to forward their domains to our landing page as a proof that they are currently the owner.

This seems like a great idea, I was thinking to do something similar but through a newsletter.
Why did you guys decide to close down the project?
We had good initial traction and a lot of domains were submitted, but visits slowly dropped and the "sales" as well.
It needs more time and probably a budget which we do not have at the moment.
We have decided to close down the project.
