The Buffer State of Social 2019 is out: https://buffer.com/state-of-social-2019 My (brief) takeaways:
- Still hard to prove social ROI
- Engagement is still the measurement of choice (over traffic, conversions, etc)
- YouTube is underinvested vs. reach
- Infl. mktg is bigger than I expected
Never did understand why FB for video with YT and fact FB mess up with video views etc.
and the flip side of the coin of social ROI is how to reassure 'bosses' likes/shares/comments are not it.
"What factors are holding you back from creating more video content currently?"
Seeing 66.5% say lack of time, 23.7% say not sure what to create makes me think I may have something with http://blog2video.com -- any tips reaching those people? :)
