Hi Everyone!
I was trying to get the hang of SEO and understood that besides having great content, I got to have backlinks from quality websites. While I was successful in getting backlinks from forums, directories, and commenting, I still have to do a lot about getting DoFollow backlinks from quality websites.
Websites like HubPages or eZine have very stringent requirements for articles posting. Any idea if they provide do-follow links? Did anyone succeed in getting do-follow links from them?
Please also let me know other channels you are using to get quality backlinks.

Great question Pathik. The dofollow vs nofollow debate is important but don't sleep on nofollow links either - Google has said they treat nofollow as a "hint" now, so they still carry some value. That said, here are some strategies that have worked well for getting quality dofollow backlinks: 1) Guest posting on niche-relevant blogs - most will give you a dofollow link in your author bio. Focus on quality over quantity. 2) Create linkable assets like original research, data studies, or comprehensive guides that people naturally want to reference. 3) Broken link building - find broken links on relevant sites and offer your content as a replacement. 4) HARO (Help A Reporter Out) - respond to journalist queries in your niche and earn backlinks from news sites. 5) Build genuine relationships with other creators in your space. The best backlinks come from real connections, not cold templates. One thing I'd avoid is paying for links or using PBNs - Google has gotten really good at detecting those and it can tank your rankings. I work in SEO (RankFrame SEO) and the clients who see the best results are always the ones who focus on creating genuinely useful content first, then doing targeted outreach. It takes longer but the results are way more sustainable.

HARO can be a goldmine if you are in the right industry with the right product.
Nice job on making progress! Forum/social media sites will set backlinks as nofollow by default, that said there is still some SEO benefit from Nofollow links as evidenced here.
As for the question at hand - it's about first creating really good content that answers popular questions in your niche, and building relationships to then build quality links. What I like to do is find comparable articles that people are sharing on social media and reach out to the person who shared with a personal note and share my article with them. You can do the same thing by looking up articles in your niche and reaching out to authors and request a backlink.
As with all cold outreach, the more you can do to personalize the better. Don't just send the same template to everyone, modify it as much as possible to the person you are writing to and you stand a better chance at earning a link.
Also, don't pay for links.

These metrics are directly improved through backlinks. Agencies like https://pagewon.io, build links on sites with high DA and PA, which helps to increase the authority of your site faster.
Generally speaking, the higher the authority of the site from which your website receives backlinks, the more the authority of your own site will increase.
I like to find websites in my niche and than run them through Moz or Ahrefs. When doing so, I will look to see if there are any links that I can use, such as blog comments, or sign ups, that don't require any sort of payment. It is very difficult to get links from these resources. But you can take HubPages and look at their backlinks, select the highest quality ones and create a newsletter.
I use the snov.io tool for cold emailing. It helps improve automate all processes. The tool helps you find email addresses, check and send drip campaigns. Try to write https://wpastra.com/ - a good resource, we received a link from them, DR 91

There are many courses teaching you how to get backlinks but first of first of first: Content!
That's a big problem for most of us, how to get high quality/ top norch contents for our website!
It's easy to get backlinks if you have the content, Email outreach / social share / content quote/ or even paid PR service can help you get high quality backlinks!
What works for you will depend a lot on the industry you are in. HARO works very well for marketing and tech topics, for example. I personally used it to get backlinks from lots of websites in my niche as well as backlinks from bigger publications like Business Insider.
If you are well-known in your field, getting interviewed on podcasts, in articles etc also works great.
If you are in an industry where people create lots of "best resources" page, asking to be listed works well provided you have a quality resource.

Yes, focusing on that too but not much successful. I read some articles and they said, you got to have good backlinks profile to have a good ranking and good ranking means more visibility and more traffic. So, working on the both.
SEO unless super niche is a 1-3 year investment if not 5+
if you can afford to do it, cool, just be patient
but when you work on getting traffic, you can earn from that traffic, while it also promotes your SEO for the long term.
in stats possible searches, links are measured for usefulness, if users click them and don't bounce from the site, so getting users gets SEO, getting links with no users don't get you any SEO either.
It would take that long if you spend an hour or two per week making slight changes. But overall SEO is a content strategy. Quality content creates backlinks. H1 tags and alt text does not.
The reality of it is that you need to focus on SEO but start first on creating high-quality content on your site. This helps to build a picture of what your product/service is about, you can focus on internal linking, submit your site to directories to get backlinks to the home page and link to pages from the home page. With internal linking, you will start to pass around the 'link juice' that can actually work wonders for ranking, even without any backlinks.
Become the Wikipedia of your niche/industry and you will start getting backlinks.
