BACKUP YOUR DATABASE!
Just had a scare where our database got wiped out by a bug.
Luckily, we started to automatically update our database a few months ago so no harm done. Still a stark reminder on what could have happened had we not made that move.

the least I do for any project is automatic backup using Rclone and cron to google drive https://github.com/negati-ve/docker-rclone-google-drive-cron-backup
eventually as the project grows I move to proper backup strategies
Oof that sounds like it could have been bad. What are you using to back up your database?
It was horrifying :(
We're using MongoDB Atlas' automatic backups atm.
