For those that hack on indie projects and work full time...
How do you balance your energy and time to give both the attention they deserve?
Is this possible? or will one always win over the other?

It's hard work. The crux is to be really, really focused on what you're trying to deliver. Set a reminder to go off every 10 minutes, and when it does, ask yourself "Am I working to my goal, or am I shitposting on twitter?"
And work towards something your interested in, otherwise it's just work.
