Today I'm excited to launch BashPilot, an AI-powered Linux server administration and troubleshooting assistant.
BashPilot helps system administrators, DevOps engineers, hosting providers, and developers troubleshoot and manage Linux servers using natural language. It supports standalone Linux servers as well as cPanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin, Virtualmin, and Webmin.
The goal is simple: spend less time searching documentation and more time solving problems.
I'd love your feedback on the product, the user experience, and which features would make it most useful for your workflow.

“Nice positioning for Linux teams. What’s the first task where users feel the ‘copilot’ advantage immediately?”
Have you found users rely on BashPilot more for diagnosing unfamiliar issues, or does it become part of their everyday troubleshooting workflow once they start using it?
The interesting challenge with BashPilot is that server administration is full of high-context decisions, not just commands.
How are you thinking about building trust with experienced DevOps users who may use AI for assistance but still need confidence before running suggested fixes on production systems?
