Bearconnect: How I Stay in Touch with All 5 of Our Users - Every 2 Days

We’re still early at Bearconnect.io- we have just 5 active users right now. But instead of worrying about scaling, I’m focused on learning everything I can from them.

Every 2 days, I check in with each of them on WhatsApp.

No fancy CRM. No automated flows. Just real conversations.

Sometimes it’s a quick “How’s it going?”
Other times, we go deep into feedback, what’s working, what’s broken, or what they'd love to see next.

Why every 2 days?
Because I want them to know I’m here, I’m building for them, and their voice matters.

It’s not scalable, but it’s not supposed to be.

The feedback I’m getting helps us fix bugs and improve the product so it’s ready for a strong full launch.

I think you're on the right path. The main job of the founder is to talk to users 24/7 and make sure that your product solves a real pain point.

      Thanks Jason! I agree

We are solving this problem of staying close to your users. Because not all founders will have whatsapp contacts of their users. Join the waitlist droon.vercel.app.

What exactly does your app do?

Love this. Talking directly to users before trying to scale is such a smart move. Real feedback > guessing. Keep going!

      Thank you Stefan!

Love this approach — talking to every user directly is gold at the early stage.
I’m doing something similar for my own small tool.

I’ve been building a simple web app to extract full transcripts from YouTube videos (single videos, playlists, even full channels) — it cleans up the transcript, exports in multiple formats (txt, csv, json, srt, vtt), and adds metadata like title, duration, and thumbnails.

It started from my own pain point (spending hours copy-pasting transcripts to summarize long interviews & lectures into Notion/Obsidian), and now I’m onboarding my first users to learn what features they care about.

Happy to share if anyone’s dealing with video content in their own workflows!

      Sounds interesting! All the best!

Thanks Andrew! I am curious about your lead scoring process. How are you doing and what tools are you using?

Thanks for sharing this — I’m building something similar and totally agree: the Action Layer is where most of the growth potential (or loss) happens.

What really helped us was combining manual outreach with automation:

    • For the first 30–40 users, I personally followed up via WhatsApp or voice notes — it gave me insights into their objections, and built early trust.

    • Now we're adding a lead score to prioritize salons who engage multiple times but haven't signed up yet — they usually convert with just a small push.

Your idea of a scoring system is spot-on. If you’re up for it, happy to compare how we’re structuring that logic on Supabase + n8n.

Also curious: are you seeing more conversions via WhatsApp or email?
