Before you build, check if your SaaS can rank on Google. Here is a 10-minute test.

Most founders validate their idea with surveys and interviews. Almost none of them validate the SEO opportunity before building.

Then they launch and wonder why nobody finds them organically.

Here is the 10-minute check I do for every SaaS idea before committing to it:

Open Google and search the main problem your product solves (not the product name, the problem)

Look at the top 10 results. Are they from big brands or small blogs and forums?

Check if Reddit threads are appearing on page one. If yes, the keyword is winnable

Search the same question on ChatGPT. Who shows up? Are any of them small SaaS tools?

If small tools and Reddit threads dominate the results, you have a real organic acquisition channel available from day one.

If it is all Salesforce and HubSpot, you need a different go-to-market angle.

This check takes 10 minutes and it changes how you build your content strategy from launch.
