Hello Indie Hackers!
Just a quick note this post won't provide you with any value, insight or anything helpful so I don't want to waste your time. :)
I’m looking for someone to help, guide, support, advise or provide some kind of feedback on my business idea. Sadly, I’m not an indie hacker and don’t know how to code but I built a basic prototype of my business idea in WordPress but quit it after I lost motivation, passion or some drive to pursue it further.
My business idea was to develop an online platform for filmmakers. I studied both film and business so I’ve got some theoretical knowledge and insight in these areas. However, I’ve never built any business so I’m a complete newbie when it comes to this.
Anyway, what I’m trying to say is that some spark within me still preserves and I would regret not trying to pursue this idea further. So if someone felt like could provide the aforementioned support, advice or some kind of guidance, please let me know. Or at least feel free to share your stories if you faced something similar and how you overcame it. Thank you very much!
I am also new here, I worked 7 years as dev and now trying to build something.
If you have questions about code stuff or infrastructure on the cloud i will be happy to answer
Thanks Kota! Will get in touch soon :)
You'll likely get the best response if you post the link with details here.
Hi Tommen,
First off, kudos to you to have the guts to post your struggles as a first time Indie Hacker.
You’re not alone… It’s always good practice to get feedback and help, especially early on in your journey. Indie Hacker community is top notch.
I created a free Notion resource called the Product Validation Playbook.
It’s a step-by-step guide tailored for aspiring Indie Hackers with no audience looking to create products that people actually want, all while making the most of your valuable time and resources.
I've personally built mobile apps, web apps and digital products for 10 years.
What you’ll learn:
🔍 The importance of validating your idea.
🎯 How to choose your target market and niche audience.
💡 Why you shouldn't build anything before validation.
📚 Why you should create a content product before building software.
🚀 Building a SaaS MVP with no-code.
📊 Collecting feedback, testing, and iterating.
Again it’s free and not able to post the link here so you could find it on my Twitter (@Jameson_C) feed if you want. 🙂
It’s about 6 Notion pages worth of content to help guide you and minimize the learning curve a bit.
Don't hesitate to reach out if you have questions. Happy to help.
Cheers,
Jameson

Thanks for your kind words Jason and the resource. Will get in touch on Twitter! :)
Hey! I'm Matt I am also new to the startup space, recently built my MVP for a startup idea I have, now trying different ways to validate and gather feedback, I know how to code so maybe I can help a little in guidance there if you want to learn but I'd love to connect with someone new to this space as well, maybe we could help each other grow!
I'm just not sure how or if it's possible to send a private message :D
You can add me on discord!

Hello and thanks for your message. :)
That sounds like a good idea! Happy to get in touch and help, advise or motivate each other and looking forward to hearing more about your project.
Thanks for posting. I have no specific advice, but I'd love to see this project grow and see what you learn as you go!
That's very kind of you. Thanks!
