When you build a product like Textideo, every holiday becomes an opportunity — not just to celebrate, but to create something that connects with users.
This Thanksgiving, we decided to go a little extra.
Instead of a simple banner, we built an entire interactive inner page dedicated to Thanksgiving — fully powered by AI video generation.
And yes, we built it in 72 hours.
Textideo is an AI video generation platform where users can create videos from text prompts, scripts, or images — all within a few clicks.
As Thanksgiving approached, we noticed a spike in seasonal video requests — “family dinner,” “gratitude message,” “autumn vibe commercials.”
So instead of just running a campaign, we decided to test a dynamic seasonal interface — one that not only looked festive, but guided users toward relevant content and templates.
We wanted to blend emotion + functionality, using AI-driven visuals to inspire creation.
We kept the stack consistent with our main site but pushed the limits of interactivity.
What started as a themed update turned into a testbed for context-aware video generation — something we’ll expand for Christmas and New Year. 🎄
We built a micro-feature:
when a user enters a script mentioning “Thanksgiving”, the UI subtly animates — a floating turkey emoji appears, and the preview background shifts to a soft orange gradient.
It’s a tiny detail, but users loved it.
That’s the kind of “delight moment” we aim for — emotionally responsive AI tools.
Prototype Emotion Early
Don’t just build the UI — build the feeling. Test with micro-animations and tone early.
Ship Seasonal Updates Like Features
Treat every holiday as a chance to test UX ideas. Our “Thanksgiving inner page” gave us real insight into dynamic model suggestions.
Users Love Familiarity + Surprise
Keep your core flow the same, but update aesthetic cues. Comfort builds trust; novelty keeps it exciting.
The Thanksgiving page will stay live through November, then transition into a Winter / Holiday theme in December.

This small project reminded us that:
Building in public isn’t just about sharing numbers — it’s about sharing curiosity.
If you’re an indie maker, try experimenting with seasonal UX — it’s a fun, low-cost way to engage users and test new features under real-world attention.
