Best advice for productivity?

You know there's something wrong in society when you have to have 1000s of programs to fix one simple issue. You can purchase programs for $100's that deal with this simple issue: productivity. There are several reasons for a lack of productivity:

  1. The atmosphere in the room. Make sure you have a good, quiet place to work without (many) distractions. If you want music, and it helps you, you can have some music on (through speakers or headphones).

  2. Procrastination. This is probably the #1 reason for a lack of productivity. However, it can be fixed by simply creating (and sticking to) a plan.

  3. Lack of desire. If you don't want to do something, it won't get done, unless (again) you make a plan to do it.

I'm juggling two organizations (as well as working from home with a wife and two babies at home as well), so I know what a lack of productivity can look like, but I'm making the most of my situation and starting to increase my productivity. How about you? Are you going to make this change as well? It just takes a plan.
