Best app for creating promotional tutorials?

Hi all

I need some help with a product. I need to make promotional videos and I don't have any clue what app should I use to create one.

Can anyone recommend me a good(possibly free) video editing software for promotional videos?

Yeah I did that a while ago but I found the UI to be pretty bad.

Looks good. I'll give it a spin.

@rosiesherry Thanks for the shout out.

Yeah, @shash7 if you're looking to create some promotional videos. I would love to chat with you and learn what types of videos you're looking to create. The product is in an exciting stage where I am adding lots of features, currently, I am narrowing down the backlog to essential features users want and can't live without.

I would love to chat with you and learn what those features are. There is a good chance it's either already built, or can be in production within a few days.

I want to compile a list of all the things that make a successful promotional video. Here are some things that come to mind.

        • ✅ Narrative (feature-wise you need the ability to have cuts between clips and a separate audio track that talks about something)

        • ✅ Clear and engaging messaging (feature-wise this is possible with the premium animated text options. You don't want too much text in a promo video but clear words that convey your point and is engaging to the user)

        • ✅ Proven results as to what works (this is where templates will come into the mix. I am still working on creating winning templates that you can branch off of)

        • ✅ Different formats for different platforms (you may want to reuse the video on several platforms. Having it look like it was made for that platform, has a much more professional appeal. There is an option to change the artboard size based on the platform you'll be posting on)

        • ✅ Subtitles (If someone is talking you don't want that information to be lost for users who have their audio on mute)

        • ✅ Progress bars (Attention span is short and progress bars keep users engaged. They also look cool, especially with the gradient option I recently added)

There are a ton more that I could list. I am also sure I could learn from you as to what goes into a good promotional video from your subjective experience.

Let me know if you want to chat more. Perhaps we could hop on a call and figure something out.

Fleeq isn’t bad. They had an App Sumo recently and some time ago. I’ve used it (briefly) to create video tutorials.

Check out Rockup. It's currently pre-beta. Perhaps it might help you in the future.
