Andy Jassey
Okay, this one is obvious I think. Andy is the CEO of Amazon and has a lot to tell in the cloud business. Andy maybe doesn't give you the day-to-day cloud deployment tips but you still find very useful information in his tweets! Even if you just see some notifications about re:Invent.
Werner Vogels
Werner is an awesome guy! Werner is the CTO of Amazon for a really long time already and made history with Amazon and AWS. He is very interested in all different kinds of technology. His re:Invent keynotes are amazing!
Werner also has a really interesting blog, an own TV show on YouTube.

Jeff Barr
Jeff Barr is the Chief Evangelist at AWS. He writes most of these blog posts you read on the official AWS website. If you want a lot of news for new services or want to know more about technical writing, definitely check him out!
Adam Elmore
Adam is the first one on the list who is not working for AWS. He is an independent cloud consultant and hosts the podcast aws.fm. In his podcast, he interviews great guests about serverless & AWS. He also has a blog where he talks about how he did all 12 AWS certifications in 6 weeks 🤯
Eric Johnson
Eric is a Developer Advocate at AWS. His main areas are:
- SAM -> Serverless Application Model
- Serverlessland -> Awesome resources for serverless architectures
He is hosting a lot of twitch streams and really gives you so much information about serverless at AWS. Definitely follow him to stay up to date about SAM.
Michael Bahr
Michael Bahr also creates a lot of content around the topics of AWS & Serverless. He is also blogging. He is a former AWS developer who now switched to Stedi. Go and check him out!
Filip Pyrek
Filip is an AWS community builder and organizes the serverless Brno meetup (they also have a great racing track there 😉). He created the 3D printing files for a lot of serverless icons and that is already a great reason to follow him!
David Boyne
David builds a lot of open-source tools and one of them is really good for documenting and communicating event-driven architectures.
Tobias Schmidt
Tobi is famous for his awesome 1x1s of AWS. He creates tons of content all around AWS, Serverless, and sometimes even about Azure 🤯. He builds projects on the side, is a developer advocate for dashbird, and works as a freelancer.

David Wells
David is popular for creating the cognito book. Everybody who already worked with Cognito knows that it is not super straightforward. David helps with that!
Heitor Lessa
Heitor created the awesome Lambda Powertools for Python. If you are working a lot with lambdas in Python and not using them, go and check them out.
Sheen Brisals
Sheen works at one of the most loved places from our childhood, Lego! He talks a lot about serverless and cloud in general.
Rick Houlihan
Rick is the grandfather of Single Table Design. He has SO many tutorials on DynamoDB patterns, best practices, and data modeling. If you ever want to create a single table design you won't overcome Rick. Also watch some re:Invent videos of him because they are awesome!

Luca is also a solutions architect at AWS. He also writes some books, for example Building Micro-Frontends and gives you great content in his Twitter Feed!
Benoît Bouré
Ben is the master of AppSync. Definitely check him out if you want to more about AppSync, VTL, and Lambda!
Andrew Brown
I think many people know Andrew from his 13 hour-long YouTube videos for learning for the AWS certification. I actually got my developer this way 😉
He is hosting a lot of great Twitter Spaces recently and really gives you good information about cloud and AWS in general!
Danny
Danny is a really awesome person in the AWS space and one of the biggest AWS accounts on Twitter. He is really awesome in sharing all knowledge about cloud certifications and cloud development. He has some really cool guides on his blog about all cloud topics. Definitely check him out!
Alex DeBrie
I think you cannot mention DynamoDB without mentioning Alex. He wrote the DynamoDB Book which is a really great introduction to advanced DynamoDB modeling techniques. Alex excels especially at Single Table Design and how to use that for high-performing applications.
