Hey IHers 👋🏼,
I have launched my waitlist for https://casa-platform.com/ 🚢 (see my other posts for previous progress)
and am working on my MVP ready for demo and early-access launch 🚀 This week I want to show my early prototype to some of my waitlist - this would involve sharing the Figma and other early sneak peeks 🫣...
Now I want a tool/platform/process for getting feedback from them - I can reach them via email but email threads are cumbersome and feel hacky... I assume there is a good tool the community knows about 😁
TLDR; I have a bunch of emails that I want to hit and have them give feedback on an attachment or action that I ask them to do - what tool or process can I use?
Hi Rowan 👋
Are you looking for general feedback, or to do usability testing on your Figma designs?
I'm working on a feedback tool that lets you drop survey/feedback widgets directly into your product/website/landing pages etc.
It's just entered a closed-beta phase, but if it's something you'd like to try then let me know (or join the waitlist on the link above) and I'll give you access!
It won't help if at this stage you're just capturing feedback just from Figma files (it doesn't integrate with Figma unfortunately). Tools like Maze or Userbrain could be useful, but these are more usability testing tools.
Hey, I did see this a couple days ago when I ended up resolving. Thanks for the insight as you got me on the right track and I eventually found Commentful for what I was trying to do! Only drawback is all commenters can view/delete other comments so I had to keep the feedback from my waitlisters to smaller group.
Update on how I ended up attacking this problem:
I could now use the Mail Merge menu in GSheets (after importing a csv of the batch of waitlisters) to send a draft email to all applicable using the subject line of the draft to "select" it.
The feedback group comment using commentful and these apply to Figma and I also have direct email comms with them. Happy to answer any questions on any of this - it was a pretty quick and not too dirty solution 😊
