WHERE BUFFERING ACTUALLY COMES FROM
Almost every stall gets blamed on the internet connection, and most of the time that is wrong.
Video handles slowness far better than it handles unevenness. A line with a healthy average that drops for half a second every minute produces exactly the freezing people blame on the provider. The reverse is true too: a modest but steady connection streams beautifully.
