Every live TV service looks fine at midnight on a Tuesday. The real evaluation happens at peak load. These are the checks that ended up mattering most.
Before paying anyone I run a short evaluation. Not on a random Tuesday morning — during peak, when the service is under real load.
Pick the handful of channels you'd actually watch. Run each for at least thirty minutes. Jump between them. Start a second stream on another device at the same time. Note when things stutter.
One evening of that reveals more than a week of reading reviews.

By the end of the run I had one service left standing. It cleared every single check without a bad night, across a full season of games.
Installation took a few minutes. Monthly rolling billing means there is no reason to stay if things slip.
