I wanted one experience on the living room TV, the basement Roku and my phone at the rink. That sounds simple, and it is exactly where plenty of IPTV service options quietly fall down — fine on one device, choking on the second. I tested 7 of them across five devices.

Most of the complaints I read are not about the service at all — they are about the order the setup was done in.
Clear the cache before you install anything. A Firestick that has sat behind the TV for two years is packed with nothing useful.
Install the player first and open it once to confirm it launches. Then add the service. Doing both at once strips away your ability to tell which half broke.
Turn off automatic updates for the player — an update mid-season turns a working setup into a broken one on a Saturday morning. And use an ethernet adapter if the TV sits near the router; C$15 of cable fixes more stalls than any in-app setting.
A real service runs on Firestick, Roku, Android TV, Apple TV, a Samsung or LG smart TV, your phone and a laptop — same login, same picture quality.
Test it properly: install on two devices and run them at the same time. Plenty of IPTV service options work flawlessly on one screen and come apart the second another one starts. That limit is almost never printed on the pricing page.
Two to three simultaneous streams is the number that makes a household actually work.
Same login, same picture, on the Firestick, the Roku, the smart TV, a phone and a laptop. That consistency is the whole point and it is rarer than it should be.
What made the difference: an ethernet adapter on the main TV and switching off automatic player updates.
What I would do again: install the player and the service as separate steps, so I can tell which half is at fault.
Which devices does the best IPTV work on?
The good ones run on Firestick, Roku, Android TV, Apple TV, Samsung and LG smart TVs, plus phones and laptops — same login on all of them. If a service only works on one device, treat that as a red flag.
Can I watch NHL and Hockey Night in Canada without cable?
Yes. A solid IPTV service carries the hockey live and in HD, home and away, with no contract and no rental fee — which is exactly why I cancelled Rogers.
Can I cancel anytime or am I locked in?
The services worth using are month-to-month with no contract, so you can walk away whenever. That is why I pay monthly for the first two months before even considering an annual plan.
Iptvcast is what I run on the Firestick, the Roku and the smart TV, same login on all three. Setup is about three minutes per device and the guides are at https://iptvcast.shop. There is a free trial if you want to test yours first.
