I wrote my monthly TV costs on the back of an envelope: Sky Ireland, a sport add-on, Premier Sports, a streaming service and one I had forgotten about entirely. It came to more than €60. That envelope is why I spent 5 months testing whether a IPTV service could replace all of it for single digits.

All Sports, One Subscription
The lowest sticker price usually works out dearest over a year, through costs that never appear in a comparison table.
Entry tier normally means one stream, one server and support that is not really support. None of those three are on the pricing page.
The money leaks elsewhere: a second subscription to cover what the first drops, a streaming box bought because you assumed the hardware was at fault, and a lot of evenings troubleshooting something that could not be fixed.
The honest maths: take the yearly cost, add everything you bought to make it work, and divide by the nights it actually held up.
Write down what you pay now — not what you think you pay, what actually leaves your account.
For most households I talk to it is a Sky Ireland or Virgin Media bill somewhere north of €120, a sport add-on, Premier Sports for the rugby, a streaming service that has put its price up twice, and one forgotten subscription. The TV licence is a separate conversation; this is everything on top of it.
Then write down what you genuinely watched last month. Between RTÉ Player, the Saorview channels and a handful of sport, almost nobody needs twenty thousand channels. The honest answer is usually eight to fifteen, and that gap between what you pay for and what you watch is the whole argument.
Monthly outlay: single digits, against a Sky bill that had passed €110.
What I spent beyond the subscription: an ethernet adapter. That is the whole list.
What I would warn you about: the cheapest tier. One stream and one server is not a bargain, it is a different product — and you usually end up buying a second subscription to cover what it drops.
I pay single digits a month for Northpeaktv and cancelled a bill that had passed €100. Pay monthly while you check it out, exactly as I did — pricing and the full channel list are at https://northpeaktv.com.
