Best place to live stream development?
I'm interested in sharing progress and live-streaming my sessions building my projects.. but where do people typically do that? I assume it's Twitch or YouTube. Any strong opinions either way?

Another option to potentially try is TikTok. Sure, the audience is smaller, but so is the competition. Plus, I'm seeing TikTok promoting live streams in their "for you" feed.
I would go with YouTube. It's really easy to set up and start and it helps to grow your channel.
I tried Twitch as I thought it might be a better option since it's focused on streaming. But after the first stream, my audio was not recorded for some reason and there were some glitches so I decided to go with YouTube.
If Twitch works for you, you can always get the video saved and upload it to YouTube later to grow your channel.
With OBS you might be able to stream to both channels but I haven't tried that. You can't fail with any option and I would recommend to try both for a few months and see which platform do you like the best (and also how the engagement is going).

First of all, you must find your target audience and start to make your content and live stream on youtube alternative you can also use YouTube ads to grow your channel.

Twitch at the moment is easier to Monetize and has better engagement features than Youtube.
However YouTube has much better discovery than Twitch and is rapidly building in new features to compete for live streams.
