Best resource to find consulting projects?
Where do you normally find your consulting projects? On one hand, there is friends and connections, that's probably the best resource. On the other, there are places like UpWork, but that's a race to the bottom as far as I understand. Is there anything in between where you find real quality projects for top dollar?
One possible middle ground is agency work. You can either try to find small agencies in the particular niche you specialize in or move to broader agency/platform hybrids.

Ultimately, YMMV as to what extent you can get 'top dollar' on these but they certainly avoid the bottom of the payscale.
