Best resources for building a product video
I figure a product video would bring a lot more growth than just a text description because I've found that people prefer watching to reading.
So far, I've only edited on iMovie. Are there any tools you recommend for free soundtracks and making a video?
Any tips on this front welcome!
If you're going to do a screencast, or a recorded demo, OBS Studio is rock solid. There's a bit of tweaking needed to get high quality screen recordings, but once it's set up it is super easy to use. Plus of has streaming baked right in if you ever wanted to livestream something like that.
I'll recommend using a program to add subtitles to video. Something like SubtitleBee would be of help, especially since it not only generates subtitles but also offers translations in more than 100 languages. It would certainly expose your video to a greater audience.
I use Filmora for videos which works well but I'm not an editor so tough to really do anything amazing.
Where are you putting the video?
I would put it on my landing page, the App Store, Product Hunt, etc.
