Best SEO tool for keyword research?

We've started doing our own research but we'd love to hear your thoughts based on your personal experiences. Which SEO tool should we subscribe to for our keyword research?

Nothing beats Ahrefs. This is from my 10+ years in SEO and running an SEO agency.

    Thanks for sharing !!!
I would like to add an ease tool to track all your keyword rankings... I recently used a SERP checker tool, Serpple. It is one of the best tool with most accurate data... And SERPPLE is not only the rank tracker but has many unique features which will be better to use...
You can also explore the tool to track the keyword ranking data. In addition, can you add Serpple to this... This might help digital marketers.... Thank you....

My buddy & his friends put together a free online marketing crash course, and there's an entire day dedicated to KW research. He names several services, along with pros and cons of each. He also makes some great points on organizing keywords in terms of intent, then assembling your funnel accordingly. I highly recommend reading it:

In terms of specific services, I tend to use Google Trends, Google suggestions (e.g. what appears when you begin typing in the search bar on Google.com), Adwords Keyword Planner, then Long Tail Pro. Just my preference and I'm certain there are many good (if not better) alternatives out there. But I like using those services, generally in that order, because it helps me go from macro to micro. Identify trends, topics, major keywords, then the really long tail stuff.

We use Google Trends and Adwords Keyword Planner every day and it's been incredibly insightful. We'll have to check out Long Tail Pro. Love your strategy from MACRO to MICRO. Thanks for responding Kellen!
