Best SMS marketing platform?

Hey indie hackers,

What are some of the best, or perhaps your favorite, SMS marketing products/platforms?

For some context, we're looking at building an SMS "newsletter" where visitors can sign-up to receive either daily or weekly (not sure yet) financial tidbits in the form of a text. It'll be a combination of demand gen and a way to nurture existing users.

As of now, we're looking at a Twilio, Avachato, and SimpleTexting. While we'll likely be moving forward with one of those, we're also not married to any and are open to any suggestions.

A few important considerations:

  1. Cost (per month / per text sent)
  2. Number of 'contacts' allowed
  3. Implementation requirements (essentially it'll be a form on a landing page)
  4. Contact management (easy way to manage, edit, delete, etc)
  5. Integrations available (such as integrating with ESPs)
  6. Campaign setup and drip capabilities

Thanks in advance!

Twilio is awesome. I haven't used it for your use case, but used it for two other projects and have no issues whatsoever.

    Hey Kris,

When it comes to SMS marketing products/platforms Eztexting, Skipio, Textdrip, and SimpleTexting are indeed popular choices. They offer robust features for sending automated texts and managing campaigns. However, if you're open to suggestions, I recommend considering other options as well. Some notable alternatives worth exploring are TextMagic, Textemall, and Tatango. Each platform has its unique features and pricing plans, so it's essential to evaluate them based on your specific needs and budget. Remember to prioritize factors like ease of use, scalability, analytics/reporting capabilities, and integration options with your existing systems. Ultimately, selecting the right platform will ensure your SMS "newsletter" effectively engages and nurtures your audience while achieving your desired goals.

I could help with this. I'm a developer and I'm building out storyix.com to be a sms platform
