Best tech stack for creating product feedback collection tool
Hey,
I've been creating chrome extensions for the last one year and as at today I've done 4 in total.
I'm looking to move forward by creating a product that does not rely on other platforms just like Chrome extensions do.
Because of this, one product I feel I should create is a product Feedback tool because this is something that would have made my life easier while adding features to my chrome extensions.
So, I want to create something that'll be useful for me from day - a product that allow my users to submit and vote feature requests.
Now, I want my app to have solid foundation, hence the need to choose the right tech stack from day one.
What do you think is the best language for creating a product feedback tool? Please suggest below.

Yes, I monetize all my Chrome extensions and I will continue to update them and add features as needed.

There must be tons of these out there already - presumably you have looked? What's the demand? Are your users asking for this? Is this something you want to build to take to market? If so, what is the USP?
Sorry for the questions but in the past I have rushed to build things and it was not actually necessary!
If there's definitely a need and it's something you want to build. What can you do to build something very quickly to get feedback? As for which language to use, it depends on your background and skills. Pick something that you don't have to learn from scratch. So if you've done Javascript, maybe look a node stack. If you've got WP experience, look at PHP.

Actually my users for chrome extension are B2C and none of them are currently asking for this.
Yes, there is a need for this and secondly am doing this for fun just like I did
for my chrome extensions.
For the tech stack, am thinking of using Angular 7 for front end and laravel/mysql as backend.
What do you think?
With my Developer's hat on, if you want to learn Angular and Laravel then of course that is fine and will work. Having used both of these technologies, I think there is a lot of work involved there, and will be quite a steep learning curve if you are starting from scratch (especially Angular). If this is purely for fun then go for it.
If you are trying to validate a product idea, I really would go for something super quick and dirty, and pick a stack that you are familiar with, maybe PHP and jquery. The goal of course is to get it in front of customers and get validation as quickly as you can.
With my Businessman's hat on, I would probably say double-down on the Chrome extensions! It looks like you've got some early traction and you are already experienced in that area.
