Best tools to manage remote workers?
Hi there,
What are the best tools to manage remote workers?
Upwork offers billing, contract management, time & screen tracking as well as communication but takes quite a heavy commission for it.
Ideally, I look for a SaaS tool that offers the same but rather at a fixed monthly price which does not depends on the salaries paid. I add my existing outsources there (and need no recruiting function).

If you already have contractors then Uclusion has 1/3 of our marketing devoted to explaining exactly how to manage them within our tool and without requiring other tools. We of course use it ourselves and have not had contact with contractors outside of Uclusion since we switched (ie no meetings, no chat, nothing).
However we do not do time and screen tracking. I really recommend staying away from that kind of management - none of the amazing people who helped Uclusion would have put up with that for a second.

I have a remote staff of 9 and use Time Doctor. Really like it and does a good job of alerting to issues and integrating with other services.
