I'm building https://www.unita.co/, a directory of communities, and I discovered that the UX design community uses Slack groups to stay connected, exchange resources, and even share job opportunities.
There are Slack communities for designers in general, but there are few that are exclusively for UX professionals. These friendly groups can be extremely helpful for designers who want to pursue UX as a career.
And if that's you, check out my list of the top 5 Slack communities for UX designers👇
- Design To Be: As a member of this UX design Slack group, you’ll get to attend exclusive events and training sessions. You’ll find job opportunities and channels to network with colleagues too.
- Content + UX: It has over 10,000 content and UX professionals as its members and it has a huge content library with resources -both free and paid- to help you learn more about content strategy.
- Stark: This community’s mission is to help you improve the inclusivity of your projects. More than 500,000 designers, developers, and product managers from companies of all sizes use the Slack group's tools.
- Creative Huddle: This server is a good place to get design and user experience advice, as well as expand your network or find UX designer jobs.
- Design Leadership Community: ****They have a space for leaders to share experiences, feedback, and advice with colleagues. Besides, members participate in in-person and virtual meetings to connect with the local community of creatives.
And, as a plus, servers that aren’t on Slack but are equally great 🙂
- Floxies: A Discord server for UX and UI women designers and developers. Inside, you will find spaces to ask for support, network, and channels to share and apply for exclusive job opportunities.
- Web Dev and Web Design: This is a Discord server with over 30K members with spaces to discuss accessibility, programming, and request feedback.

Hi Gaston,
I haven't thought there are so many public UX Slack communities. Thanks for sharing, excellent research!
Thanks for sharing Gaston.
This is a great resource, thank you! Since we just launched our new product in UI/UX space specifically for user testing SaaS companies this might come in handy.
All the best!
Yes! the idea to post this here, is that founders may find it helpful to have a list of communities to test and launch their products.
