Best way to get early adopters

So everyone is always complaining about Facebook for many reasons and that LinkedIn has turned in to a resume site. So i've created a Business SM Platform where businesses and professionals post news to their followers who can vote or comment. The issue i have is getting early adopters to try it, what ways can i get people to try the site? I've had great feed back so far from existing users but need to attract more.

Hey, I am still in that phase myself so I will just share an article I have found very instructive: Do things that don't scale

    My suggestions:
1.) Make sure you have social login. If people can create an account and login with their existing Facebook or LinkedIn accounts then at least its one less account and quicker to get up and running.
2.) Maybe even go so far as to offer "LinkedIn import"?
3.) Setup saved searches on Twitter and LinkedIn for people "complaining about social media" and reach out to them personally telling them about your new network.

I also suggest a bit of work on your landing/front page. Glancing through it quickly it was not immediately apparent (within 15 seconds I believe the research says) what makes shub.one better or different than LinkedIn.

    Hope that helps,

Hi , thanks for your feedback, what parts look amateurish? the landing page , the profiles, the news stream, the search?
Did you look at the site correctly ? as you don't have to give shub.one any details that are not already online about your company or brand anyway so it's not like anything entering secret or login details, it just a place to collate all your business profiles and share business news to followers........
Maybe try it out, then leave me some more feedback, if you still don't like it to promote your brand then delete the account after.

      Thanks again for advise mate
