Best way to set up an affiliate system?

I'd like to implement an affiliate system for a SaaS product - and I'd like to get your thoughts on my logic.

Ideal requirements:

• Having affiliates world-wide
• Not sharing customer data with 3rd parties
• Automatic pay-outs & affiliate compliance

Now, clearly, there isn't a solution that fits all 3 requirements - it's always 2 of the 3.

I'm thinking about implementing affiliates as Stripe Connected accounts - seems like the easiest to set-up and most automatic solution?

• Campaign can be custom made
• Affiliate fees can be tied to specific transactions
• Affiliates are payed out automatically and can be managed via Stripe panel
• Con: Affiliates are limited to Stripe countries (47 in total)
• Con: $2/m fee per connected account (for express)

Am I missing something obvious? Isn't this the simplest and best solution?
