I'm designing software for NFT dashboard for flippers on Solana for my first project. When MVP gets done, gonna test it for some users. Have some question in mind:
- Do you think how many times should I test & launch my first Beta Launch?
- Do I have to give rewards or referrals to attract some users at this stage? Like give them SOLANA etc.
- Or do I need to do it organically in small community like friends instead of users?
- Any apps/web for me & users to give feedback for my software personally?
Since I need them to test & give me honest feedback! Any advice? Thanks for helping me out.
Hey Erwin, a few thoughts:
So to answer the question, you should constantly be launching and iterating.
Rewards and referrals can be a great way to incentivize growth and interaction, but they shouldn't be what drives your growth. Word-of-mouth should be your goal; if you can build something that makes them want to tell someone else, you're on the right path.
You should be doing both, but only if your friends also have a similar problem to the one you're solving. And don't expect your friends to give you valuable and actionable feedback, as they will most likely want to support whatever you're working on.
A quick google search reulsted in several sites that seem to offer user testing for crypto platforms. I searched "crypto business user testing".
Hopefully this helps in some way. Please reach out if you have any further questions, as I'm currently in the process of helping an Austin-based fintech startup build their NFT exchange using no-code and low-code tools.
Good luck!
nail hit on the head!
to add a simple 2 cents - your initial beta launch is to put something out there, get feedback, and validate. no incentives are necessary, just people who care enough about the problem to check you out.
your formal launch comes after you find product / market fit, your initial users love you, and you're focused on growth. That's when rewards come into play.
ahh I agree of what you say. So its better for me to truly attract who loves my product instead of focusing on user growth with incentive. So the feedback would be honest from hot audience. Really appreaciated, thanks a lot! Also,, I read some startup loop from Lean Starttup,, kinda exactly same for what u suggest. Thanks anyway
I couldn't say much but I really appreciated of what you do, thank you very much. Didn't expect someone to give answer like this. I just starter and lot of things confused me. I will took every advice from you wisely, this is help me a lot.
I wish we could talk any further in the future. Good luck too for your project!
