We've launched the beta version of our product, a privacy-focused analytics platform: https://getinsights.io. Would love to talk about any feedback, questions, or suggestions you might have.

    Hey Henrique,

i've briefly looked on the page and here are random notes:

    • pricing page
      • missing subscription period - a visit can suppose the prices displays are for monthly fee, if you want to be fair, i would definitely state it explicitely and explain.
      • i think both the fair information and the rolling average pricing are talking the same - we are fair. I would move it below the plans, use less words and make it a bit larger
      • i would either explain or add a FAQ section to explain - can i use the subscription for multiple sites? data retention period?
    • privacy focused analytics platform hosted in Google Cloud (Firebase)... I know, it's not easy to run your own infra and honestly not aware if other privacy related companies run their own either, however, it somehow took my attention
    • on 2K display the site layout looks lame - everything is on the right leaving too much empty space around. i wonder how does it look on 4K, but i would rather center the content or scale it up.

    Anyway, good luck guys!

      Hi, svacko,

Thanks a lot for your feedback! We will improve the pricing page, and add an FAQ. Both are very good points :)

As for Firebase - a lot of our competitors offer a self-hosted solution, which makes it harder to set it up. We wondered if we should try to host the solution ourselves, but figured that since all data is already anonymized and aggregated before being sent there, there shouldn't be privacy issues with using Firebase. But I guess we are going to see :)

Regarding 2K and 4K - we will try to improve it, centralizing is probably best. Thanks again!

I'm aware the self-hosting is hard. Providing privacy-respecting services is always harder, at the same time allows companies to charge more for providing a premium service though.

Check this article https://blog.simpleanalytics.com/why-we-moved-our-servers-to-iceland about a company trying to provide similar analytics services and how they ended up in adblockers lists for self-hosting their servers in the US.
