Beta test – an app to meet your friends easily

Hi! πŸ‘‹

We recently launched this little app called Wimit that helps you find a place, date and time to meet your friends. You can pick a few friends, suggest a place and up to three dates and times, vote on what works, tap let’s go, and Wimit will notify everyone and add all the details to your calendar. Life is complicated enough – meet your friends and have fun instead of trying to figure out when and where to meet.

Download the app, try it out, and let us know what you think: https://wimit.app

We’d love to know what worked and what didn’t for you and your friends – did it work OK in your city? Did you have any problems signing up? Was it easy to send an invite? Did your friends get the invite? Did they reply? Did you manage to find a date, time and place to go out?

What’s the one thing that you really liked / did not like?

Let us know in the comments below.

Thank you!

More of a landing page critique, but try using a darker phone model for wrapping screenshots and maybe make them larger. It will frame your app screenshots better.
I should be able to understand how app works just by reading the largest heading on the page and quickly scanning through the screenshots. Currently, it is a bit hard to do that.

Thanks Tomas – will definitely take your feedback forward in the next iteration of the website to make it easier to understand how the app works.

Our focus right now is getting the app right so that it makes it 10x easier than group chatting to get together with friends.

Would love to know what you think of it when you try it out with your friends.

It's always a good question Mick.

What do you currently do when you want to get together with your friends? WhatsApp?

P.S I used to run product at a sound startup too mixlr.com and always find this problem space interesting – happy to chat anytime
