Beta testers wanted – no-code app builder

Hey guys –

I've built a product that lets you create a customer portal from your sql database. We're getting ready to launch it next month, and I was wondering if any of you guys would be interested in beta testing it?

It's at www.portify.io – I'd love to hear any feedback on i

What types of portals can be built with Portify? And what types of fields and relationships will be supported?

I tried to think an app I could use it for, but didn't come up with anything. So perhaps more examples will be helpful.

    My 2 cents:

    • first sight: okay, second tought "We" ? Who exactly? First sentece should be focused on pain point and provide value
    • not clickable images => hard to understand details
    • you need a video to explain in 30s idea, better than screenshoot
    • create view/detail view/list view => at first look does not seems clickable, maybe with a tab to highlight it more ?
    • "You control which records they can access" how ? it's a bit vague, I mean with integration with my external system or what ?
    • highlight better why I should care to pay 50$ now: which feature I will have exactly?
    • what about roadmap ?
    • there is a company behind or is just a test?
    • bottom links are dead: about/privacy etc..
    • you need a lot to explain why I should choose you, who you are, what is your background, why I must choose you to trust with my customer => I think this is a crucial point
    • as technician I'm a bit skeptical: your solution require to open up my database ? or which kind of sql database do you support? oracle, mysql, postgres ? sql could be tricky
    • how much scalable is this system? I mean.. what if I come to you with 100TB of data (or crazy amount of stuff)? Are you able to import it? I will pay 50$ forever?

While I may not be the best tester for this, I do want to say it looks great and I feel like this is going to meet a real practical need - very cool. I did just sign up for the Stacker beta. Was Portify built through Stacker?

This might be exactly what I've been looking for.

The site says you can control which records they have access to – how complex can you get with that. Does it support having people in a team see the items from that team?

Design looks great by the way!

      Great to hear!

Yes, we support some quite complex permissions option. I've seen you in the signup list, so I'll send you an email with more details
