Beta Testers Wanted: Polylink
Hi everybody! Looking for people to try out my new product Polylink. It is built to do one thing and that is manage all the many tabs you have to open throughout the day! Try out the remote feature as well! Let me know what you think.
I tried the demo, but I was never able to create a Polylink:

No. I did create an account afterwards and managed to create a polylink, but It would never open any of the links I set up.
Whenever I go to open my link(https://polyl.ink/Xlkr1NIa) I get an 'error decoding key userId: an ObjectID string must be exactly 12 bytes long (got 30)' response on the api call to https://api.polyl.ink/polylink/v1/open/Xlkr1NIa
Perfect. Found the issue :) The link call was going to the production API. If you go to manage, the orange button will launch the polylinks as well. Now if you go to manage, the link should reflect https://test.polyl.ink. Checkout the remote and viewer screens as well. Your feedback and testing is invaluable! What are your thoughts (besides the bugs lol) on the concept?
I like the concept and execution and can see people using it.
However.
I don't think it solves any problems for me personally. Thanks to the Tabby extension I don't have a problem with excessive tabs and I feel like if I wanted to read the news, for example, I could just navigate to the pages myself. For me, at least, it seems to be solving a problem that never existed.
This leads me to ask a couple of questions:
How have you validated this idea?
Do you have any competition?
How do you plan to monetize?
