BetaList vs KillerStartups...
I just wanted to give my quick thoughts to anyone (like me from 2 weeks ago) who is considering these options and give people links to the results.
Overall, I don't expect much in terms of traction but it is nice to have some "content" or a shiny, new thing to post my socials and share w/ my subscriber list. Just create some buzz and get the name out there. Also, for my vertical (real estate / finance industry) they are not savvy or privy to what a "BetaList" and likely associate PH with porn hub more than Product Hunt. So, I get equal validation when I send an article mentioning me from KillerStartups as I do from any other source - its all the same to them.
As far the work that these two sites do...you can click on the links and take a look. Basically, BetaList looks much more aesthetically pleasing and I am happier w/ sharing that around. Killer Startups' post looks a bit...messy. They have text on text on text and it is a bit convoluted...but not too bad and their email correspondence is pretty quick.

As one who's used both in the past - perhaps Betalist is kinda' worth it, since it will help you in the long run (google crawls it).
Killerstartups is close to useless -- bonus: if you look at their twitter account, they sort of have two accounts: one is killerstartups, and the other is startups. Looking at both websites - it's pretty messy.
Ahh. That’s good info and hopefully will help others. I would say your thoughts are kinda echoed in my experience. BetaList seemed a bit more “professional”.
I guess they are all kinda money grabs. Reminds me of paying to be listed on “Who’s Who” (or whatever that was called) when I was a kid.
Yeah - I haven't yet seen a website where I would actually get my money's worth for being listed there. You end up paying $100+ , for 50-100 visits - that's, simply put, bull.
