Since the day GPT3 entered our lives, written content production seems to have lost its charm. As the usage rate of GPT4 and many artificial intelligence-supported tools increases, people's written content consumption habits are changing. At least I can say mine have changed. When I read content, my doubts about whether this content is produced by artificial intelligence shift my point of view towards the content I read. The emotional connection I had with the content I used to read has disappeared. Is it a human like me or is it cutting-edge artificial intelligence? For example, are you currently reading an article I wrote or is it content produced by artificial intelligence?
Behind the Screen: Human or Algorithm?
I think this feeling is quite human. Because, in fact, I have a conservative instinct that if there is a machine, I will feel different than if there is a person. Maybe many of you feel the same as me, I don't know.

In such a period, it would be natural to expect a context to strengthen that will make people feel that you are still human. Of course, I'm talking about video content! I speak with the awareness that the production of video content is much more difficult than the production of written content. The dynamics of video content, which makes you feel the presence of a real person like you, make you feel more connected to the content you consume. This actually had a similar effect before the widespread use of artificial intelligence. However, I now believe that the skepticism I just talked about amplifies this effect considerably.
Lost in the Echo? How to Amplify Your Unique Voice
What options do startup founders have in front of them in such a period? What is the only way for a founder to be at the forefront? Does a founder have to stand out?
I want to answer starting from the end; yes, they have to. The chance of success of the founders who did not come to the fore in the start-up world is much lower than the chance of success of the founders who came to the fore. I am not saying not to produce written content in such a period - I am currently producing written content by producing this content - but I think that video content that will highlight your written content is the only tool that will make you stand out from the crowd. There is no easier way to tell people about your feelings, vision, and passion.
As some of you know, I started producing video content last June. I told what I know about the startup world, what I learned as a result of my research, and sometimes my memories. I even produced some content with dialogue. The impact of the content I produced was more than the sum of all the content I produced until this period (for about 4 years). I received positive messages from many people around me. I held catch-up meetings with people in my network but with whom we have not interacted for a long time, and we even got a new project at Etrexio thanks to these video contents. And all of this happened in about 6-7 weeks.

In addition, thanks to this video content production, we have even established a startup called Vidovi to facilitate the work of video creators. I was the first user of our product and had a great experience; we also launched our mobile app two weeks ago. However, that is not the subject of this article. When I write the article about Vidovi, you can find the link under this paragraph.

The Secret Sauce: Crafting Stories That Resonate
First of all, don't think it's complicated. I know this is incredibly difficult for some of the founders. But start simple. You can start by telling your own story. Because people really love stories. You can describe how you see the world. It's best to just talk about it as if you were talking to a friend, without thinking of it as a marketing act. Keep in mind, making short but concise videos will make your job easier for both you and your viewers. "But how?" The most important answer to the question is, open your phone's camera and start recording.
Perfectly Imperfect: Why Your Flaws Might Be Your Biggest Asset
It is in the nature of humans to make mistakes; accept that these mistakes will naturally occur in video content. You don't have to be perfect or look perfect. You are not a machine or an artificial intelligence language model. Focus on creating content as you are, rather than creating perfect content. No one expects you to be a superstar.
Hiding your mistakes and trying to remake the video can cause you to waste hours and produce content that you can never publish. When shooting videos, usually try to shoot in one shot, because that's the only way you can capture your most natural state. I've shot about 30 videos so far. The longest recording time of video I took from these videos was my first video, and I tried it about 20 times and I worked for about 4 hours for a 1-minute video. Finally, I shared it!

Daring the Limelight: What Happened When I Broke My Silence
While sharing this video, which took 4 hours to shoot, I broke out in cold sweat. Because I actually stepped onto the social media scene in a way I had never done before. The tension of being on stage was unbelievable. Then came the first like, another like, and another like... I was getting a little more comfortable with each. Within an hour, I felt as if a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders. It was a relief, but also an excitement. I started getting messages from people, and the vast majority of those messages were supportive messages. I've had great comments and feedback from several different people.
I was on stage now, and I was relieved. New ideas started to form in my mind. I had made plans for the content and continued by posting a video every day to quickly familiarize myself with it. I was sharing my videos on Youtube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tiktok, and Whatsapp, all the social media I used. I shot and shared a new video every day for exactly 15 days. When I came to my 15th video, I could now shoot videos at most twice, and my video shooting time was reduced to 15-20 minutes. As always, the most important thing in this field is practice. The more you practice, the faster you progress.
When Silicon Meets Soul: My Dance with AI in Content Creation
I have benefited from many artificial intelligence-supported tools before and after the video production process. I was using one of the first versions of Vidovi during the shoot. During the content production phase, such as getting ideas, editing the scripts I wrote, and adding subtitles to the video after the shooting, these tools saved my time!
In other words, I had a content creation process in which I benefited from all the possibilities of artificial intelligence, and at the same time, I could add something from myself. It's a really fun process!
More Than Just Words: How Sharing Transformed My Influence
There is a very important advantage to going on stage. People know you, people see you, and people become more comfortable communicating with you. After the day I started to publish the videos, people knew me in all the events I attended or in all the places I was in. I found this to be a very different and enjoyable way to communicate. Because I was giving people the chance to get to know me better with video content unilaterally.
In this case, I had the opportunity to meet many wonderful people without me having to initiate the conversation. Or I had the opportunity to listen to many people's comments and feedback about my videos.

I have taken advantage of the fact that I have put myself forward on many subjects that I have accumulated over the years and that people do not know except for private conversations. Because having knowledge about a subject and being able to show that knowledge you have are completely different situations.
Against the Clock: Why Slowing Down Might Be Your Fast Track to Success
As a founder, you need to be very clear about what your purpose is. Your goal is not to be watched, to be trending, or to reach an incredible number of followers/subscribers. In fact, your most basic goal is to show that you are a human being, a founder who makes an effort to show his difference, not get lost in the crowd.
Nothing happens in just a day. The efforts you put in every day combine to reach a result in the process. In this period, where the dominance of artificial intelligence is increasing day by day, it is very valuable not to be like everyone else. Step forward. To show that you are here. I hope it was an enjoyable read for you. You can reach my social media links below. You can reach me on social media channels for any kind of feedback.
