Just got my first paying customer for Emporter !
I had to wait a week for their free trial to possibly convert to a subscription. Longest. Week. Ever.
Now I just need about a thousand more to quit my job 😂
Congratulations! It is a great feeling the first time you see a positive cash flow! :D

Just one thought (and I have to disclose that I am not a Mac user), I couldn't really understand what your product does:
An easy way of ssh'ing to your computer? A way of hosting a dev server and creating a public address? (which, by chance, was one of my concerns a while back :P) Or you actually offer a server to which devs deploy their code?
---
P.S.: OK, after paying more attention to your words, I guess that what you do is actually the second option, an ssh tunnel over which you can serve content to quickly iterate with customers/colleagues without the need to deploy to a server, etc.
Thanks for your feedback, Aquiles!
Yes, Emporter creates a secure tunnel for you. It also has a built-in HTTP server which can (optionally) force browsers to reload whenever you make changes.
Since I've launched, I've noticed there is still quite a bit of work to be done on the product page(s) to clarify what it does and how it works. I'm hoping that by adding an intermediate "how it works" section between the main and feature sections, there will be less confusion.
I have a need for something similar, but for ubuntu. I want to be able to access my pc that has a nvidia card from anywhere. The problem is that my ISP blocks ssh in this direction (I can use ssh but not serve). Do you know a service I could be using?
Congratulations! Must be such a great feeling - sounds like you’ve got a 50% conversion from trial to paid -great start 😂 keep the faith!
Congrats, @mjp!
Congrats! I bet the joy of single subscription is size of a mountain :D
Btw, is this similar to ngrok?
Congrats Mikey!! Could you share how you acquired this first user?
It's a great feeling. Congratulations!
Hi!
I do some work for an LLC that helps entrepreneurs out with the operations and the business side of things. We could help you scale appropriately based on where you are currently with your app. Send me an email if you’re interested, I’d like to hear more about it!

Would emporter serve my existing local web server? (Currently using laravel valet.)
Hi Justin! You can share your existing web server with Emporter, all you need to do is point it to the right port!
Great to hear that. A journey starts with the first step. A business with your first customer. Seems you are on your way. Keep believing and achieving
Congrats! This step is so crucial it needs to be celebrated!
How long it took from launch to getting your first paid customer?
I got two trial subscriptions on the first day, one of which converted a week later once the trial period was over. I think the second one might have actually been from a promo code I gave someone, but the Mac App Store is opaque.
On the day I launched, I had a lot of installs. I believe the app was listed somewhere in the US store because 90% of my traffic that day came from people navigating the store.
Nice! Congratulations Mikey!
Congratulations!
Congrats! Product looks like a cool idea :)
Thanks, Kyle!
