BiP for the first time - feedback needed.
Hi everyone.
I’m very excited and happy because I want to show you my product.
Let say it’s something new to me to expose something that I’m building, as previously I was only building things for myself and sharing my results I always put ‘on later’. To not make the same mistake again I decided to build in public.
I’m building web application https://cryptoperk.io where companies can give cryptocurrencies to their employees as a job benefit.
I’m using rails as a backend and react js. Any kind of feedback is welcome :)
I’m also very eager to give answers on technicals questions.
My next steps are to adjust mobile version and create some social media accounts. At the same time, I want to validate my idea.

If I were you, I would find at least one company that would use your product before building it. They would also tell you which features they need and which they don't. In addition, you'll confirm that you are able to reach your target audience.
People on IH are nice and they love to encourage everyone with "it's a great idea" but you should really validate with those who are going to pay you.

It must be exciting to share your product publicly for the first time. I have been doing this since about 2008 so I don't feel the same way as you do.
Looks like you have not yet launched.
Does the company needs to already own these crypto currencies or do you source them? What if employees do not want to own crypto? Would they be offered Fiat currency?
I believe Ruble is now backed by gold. How does this play into word of currencies?

I think the idea is good (though admittedly, I'm not plugged into the crypto world). I think you should think about who your target market is (company size) and get an idea of who the competitors are in that space.
What is your marketing plan besides posting progress here?
For me, the ideal play for a business like this is to build up a presence and then get it acquired by one of the bigger Payroll/Benefit companies (Think Gusto).
Good question regarding marketing plan. I thought to speak with HR managers using linkedin. I also want create affiliate program for those people who are cooperate with those managers.

Your plan will depend on who you define as competition. I've always been a fan of content marketing (blogging) but just know that this is a long game.
I recommend scoping reviews (I did this with my first software company and grew it to 40 employees as a result of staying on top of the market).
From there, you can craft your unique value proposition and incorporate that into your content marketing.
Paid ads are also viable, and a quicker way to get to where you're going, but you need to have your ideal customer dialed-in (including your conversion flow).
