Bitcoin Game Idea Validation
Hi Everybody! I launched a bitcoin lotto style game a few months ago and would love feedback from all of you. The basic concept behind the idea is we pool together players bitcoin and deposit it with lending partners. The total pool size accrues interest for one week. At the end of the week, each player gets the initial bitcoin they contributed refunded back to their wallet and one person wins the interest accrued from the entire pool size. I really like this idea and have tried something similar on Ethereum with my own token. Unfortunately, it didn't amount to much since I had a hard time to convince people to buy in to my own token, which i needed for other reasons. But i totally think something like this can work with BTC or ETH directly.
We've launched and have 5 players so far. We're hoping to get the pool large enough for a sizable prize first before starting the weekly lottery routine. We considered the token route, but figured there are already many people with BTC and lending infrastructure is being assembled with VC help, (Blockfi, Celsius, etc)
Could you share any more lessons you learned from your project about finding players?
