Block, Pivot, Restart - building a no-code platform now
What's up hackers?
Long term failed entrepreneur here (10+ years trying). This is a reflective post, just sharing with fellow founders.
I had promised myself to stick to my travel related product since 2018. I would not say things were going well at all. After a minor brush with burn-out (I have had a few before), I started a long term trip on November 2018. And in March 2020 I got stuck in Lao.
My mental state was much better though and I started committing time to my ideas again. After steady work for 3 weeks and a couple Reddit experiments to gather direction, I finally pivoted to an old idea I had since 2013.
I wanted to create no-code platform for tech-savvy founders and small businesses for a long time. I own nocodo.com and dwata.com, supposed to be related to "no-code" and "data". I decided to restart with Dwata as an Open Source, self-hosted Python/React app building platform. Visual, with minimum/no-code, you own the data and whole stack.
As I am stuck indoors in Laos, I am working on this daily. So if you are a founder who wants to build apps but do now know how to code then please leave a message (ideally with your business challenge). I will get back to you when I have something to show.

I'm very new to coding (currently going through CS50 course) and also exploring no code tolls to develop web apps to help with the business.
My challenge is to simplify ordering and processing for a manufacturing business. Kind of like a customised Uber Eats, where our dealers can place orders on the app and we can process them on our end.
There are quite a few ERP solutions for this but I'm looking for a customised app with specific features I want.

Thank you and I hope you are doing well too. Lovely to know you are learning to code, it is a great tool to have in business.
My current focus audience is businesses who need cut management. So fabric based companies. I have 2 prospective businesses - jute/cotton bags and drapery. But it is basically a custom order flow so I feel it would fit what you described.
