I tried to be more creative with a call to action button on my website https://officemixer.app/ Would you push it or should I stick to the classic, "try now"? Have you ever done anything bold on your landing page that paid off or failed?
I'd go for try now or something along those lines.
One of the most important principles of design is don't make me think.
What happens when you press the button should be obvious.
Agreed.
The button is not clear if there is a free trial or if it is paid only. It's unclear what the user should expect when clicking the button and removes an element of safety of what to expect.
Also, the question mark in the button text is really jarring. I can't articulate it, but it not makes it feels like a button. It only feels like a misplaced header.
I don't think it actually matters...If you're solving a really important problem most people will click through. If you're not, you'll see some conversion changes but overall numbers will remain small - instead you should focus on your copy, I had a hard time grasping your product intent on first look. GLHF!
