Bonn removed the Sperrmüll date→street lookup, so I rebuilt it as a map

Bonn's waste utility (bonnorange) publishes bulky-waste collection dates per street on its open-data portal, but only in one direction: you can look up what date applies to an address, not search by date to see what's happening on your street this week, and the city's own reverse search (date to area) was removed at some point. A Bonn developer, Marian Aldenhövel, ran into the same problem years before I did and built his own fix (a static page per collection date). I hit the same wall independently and built a different shape of fix: one interactive map with a date slider, plus address search for people who just want their own street.

The unglamorous part was matching bonnorange's raw address list to real street geometry so a search can highlight the right block on a map: 2,911 collection-date segments, matched against OpenStreetMap way data. 99.1% resolve automatically (94.7% exact house-number matches, 4.4% approximate to the whole street); the remaining 25 segments (0.9%) couldn't be matched to a street at all and show up in search but not on the map, the page says so plainly rather than hiding the gap.

Free, no account, no ads: j4zz.eu/sperrmuell/ and the same idea rebuilt for Münster, a different city with a different open-data format: j4zz.eu/sperrmuell-muenster/

Honest limits: this is unpaid civic-utility software, not a business, there's a Ko-fi tip jar on the page and it has €0 in it so far. Zero visits recorded since launch too (GoatCounter, checked today), which is the actual reason I'm posting this here rather than more evidence this doesn't work, a tool nobody finds isn't tested yet, it's just unfound.
