Krzysztof Cichy, a B2C sales rep from Poland with zero tech background, didn’t plan to become a maker. His goal? Simply to see if he could build something using no-code tools.
Armed with curiosity, ChatGPT, and a lot of chaotic energy, he launched BoomHabits — a playful habit tracker—just three days after googling “how to build a web app.” He had no prior experience, no editor, no terminal knowledge. But he kept pushing forward.
Instead of pitching a polished product, Krzysztof shared his raw journey on Reddit and X. His honesty struck a chord. Within two days, he had 100 users. By day three, over 200 had signed up, and BoomHabits became #5 Product of the Day on Fazier.
Krzysztof didn’t spend a cent. No marketing team. No launch plan. Just one excited, messy post: “I had no clue what I was doing, but I made this.” That human connection made all the difference.
Today, he’s planning a proper SaaS app — but BoomHabits proved his point: anyone can build something real.
