Boost motivation for your passion project by creating a positive feedback loop in 4 simple steps

Fair points! I would probably add one more that I've found to be super critical in sustaining motivation and building positive feedback loops: find people who care about your journey and you can share your highs and lows with. They may care because they are on the same journey and you rely on each other to make progress (e.g. having a gym buddy) or because they are really invested in the outcome (e.g. solving a real pain point for someone) or just because they are excited to see you progress or see that thing you are working on becoming reality.

For me, the worst part is the mental struggle when you work on something on your own that nobody seems to care about. Making connections, fostering them and taking them along the journey are probably just as important as making sure you have healthy routines and positive inner feedback loops going.

As a new founder, I'm already finding this is the case, and have to keep reminding myself how lucky I am to be working on my passion. This article is a great reminder to not lose track of your north star because that's where it all tracks back to.

Really needed this today. Don't know whether it's loss of motivation or burnout I'm feeling though. They can feel very similar. Some time off over the holidays will help, I'm sure. I'll come back to your article in the new year if I'm still struggling as these are some great tips.
