Hi Indie Hackers,
A couple of months ago we launched our MVP for https://imagineme.ai/ and gained some traction relatively quickly, so decided to continue. It's an AI platform that allows users to train custom ML models (of themselves, pets, etc.) and generate high-quality images (art and photography) with it. Really fast and simple.
Since then we have improved the platform significantly, and we are still adding a lot of serious improvements and features to the platform in the coming months. I think it's safe to say we are currently the best online AI platform for generating personal images, and we are planning to keep it this way by developing fast.
We have not been doing any marketing since we wanted to reach a higher level of quality/reliability first. However, users kept coming in and paying! This month we reached $2k in revenue, all through word of mouth. Also, we noticed some B2B interest. We have just recently started reinvesting in Social Media Marketing since that is where most users heard about us organically.
We are looking for an experienced Indie Hacker to join as a late founder, to bring our marketing to the next level while we continue to improve the platform! Here are some things that need to be done:
Most importantly we are looking for someone who can not only think about marketing but also execute. So design/writing skills are important.
If you are the person that can bring our marketing to greatness, and if you are excited to make this journey with us, feel free to write a comment below, or send me an email to maxim@imagineme.ai!
Excited to meet all of you!
Hey, Your login doesn't work well, tried it with gmail and couldn't try the app.
I would start off with building a discord community around the product, as it seems most platforms are doing so. can check invoke ai, and other stable diffusions apps on the market, to win this you think how you differentiate yourself from the market, cause the competition is high, everyone can connect SD today and send prompts.
so what's you edge?
@Latysocles Just sent you an email today.
Hey,
Here are a few of my initial thoughts, and potential areas for us to stem conversation from:
Developing an ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) and building from there would be my first move - after that determining the primary, secondary, and tertiary customer segments to provide more insight; what that will allow:
This will allow for more specific messaging, imagery, etc when it comes to marketing; making sure that we're as efficient as possible in approach
Subscription Model can work on multiple levels:
Differing pricing tiers across different client segments (Entrepreneur, Enterprise, Consumer) would prove beneficial, because you'd be serving different needs that can be packaged, marketed, and sold differently for the varying segments. For example an enterprise account would be Large orders (# of accounts on a plan), and high activity. Entrepreneur (think Influencer, small business owner, boutique firm, etc.) would be a small to medium order, with high activity. While, a consumer would be a micro order with low to medium activity.
That's a sliver of what I'd like to go over. Concerning the email marketing, landing pages, and newsletter campaign, I've developed that for startups in the past. So in terms of marketing strategy, tactics, and activities, I'd have you covered.
Now, where I provide additional value that isn't always captured is in the revenue optimization, business development, sales driving aspects. Working with you to develop account plans, strategies, frameworks, etc. for prospective, potential, and active customers. Breaking down the data to increase LTV, while decreasing CAC and Churn Rate.
For a little info on me:
If you're open to continuing the conversation, and seeing all the places I could provide value to what you're looking to build, lmk

Hey, just sent you an email.
30k email subscribers is gold in my opinion.
Worked as a copywriter, email marketer, fb ads manager and now I do complete growth hacking for young saas business models. Would love to connect
Hey, this looks interesting,
Thank you.
How are you currently generating revenue?
Just a simple credit system. 1 credit is one generation with 4 image variations. 10 credits to train a model. But we want to add subscriptions for pro users since it makes more sense for both parties, for us better predictability, and for users a much better experience.
