Bootstrapping an IEP & Therapy Software: Shifting Special Schools Away from Paperwork

Hey Indie Hackers,

Running a special education school or therapy center is incredibly tough, especially when relying on slow software or manual paper logs. Educators and therapists waste hours cross-checking student records and progress numbers.

That’s why I bootstrapped Spescho — a dedicated web application designed for the real world. It strips away the bloat to help special schools and therapy centers digitize their workflows easily.

What it does:

- IEP Tracking: Easily monitor and update Individualized Education Programs for every student.

- Therapy Scheduling: Streamline sessions and management for therapists and educators in one place.

- Smart Progress Insights: Clear reports on student growth and milestones without messy configurations.

It's currently live on CodeCanyon. I'd love your thoughts on the design or any tips on pitching to specialized institutions that are hesitant to drop the paper log.
