Bootstrapping is never been easy. I would like to share my journey.
It’s been a real hassle for me to spare some time and find the clients for my business, as i have something in the backlog every time and it has been effecting my business and i have seen same problem with lot of startups around me.
I started this project in 2019 and hired a developer from agency to code the MVP.
After spending around $5,000 in next 4–5 months, we was no where close to the completion of MVP and this is where i have to jump into it myself as well and start the coding part as i didn’t lost hope and continue to work on it. Since then i have been working on it 10–12 hours per day and 7 days a week.
Fast forward to 2020, I have made the first round. After hiring a more experienced app developer, my MVP launched. You can have a look at Linkedcamp. I am open to any kind of feedback so don’t hesitate to share it with me.
App is in very early stage but i am planning to add more features into it and also launch the IOS and android app(s) for it.
As of now there are almost 10 free users using the application and i am working on marketing strategy to get some more users on-board and potentially convert them into paid users.
I will be glad if you can share your feedback on it. Thank you in advance.
Well done! LinkedIn automation is good for some companies.
What help do you need right now, markeketing? sales? or?
definately looking into sales.
I think this is the wrong strategy for this type of offer.
When you make a spam platform.. (yes it is..) the last thing you want is a lot of users. You can't run it like a wide availability SaaS.
You need to find a few users that can pay alot and make it mostly exclusive. Even without a public facing offer.
Cause once you get traction you'd start anoying the platform. Than they start fighting you and it won't be profitable for you to head them on.
I think you got a wrong perception, i never wants to have few users that can pay alot. I have spent months building this platform and there is no plan to annoy the users. The purpose of building this tool was to help the people automate some stuff so that they can focus on working on something constructive rather than lot of manual work. And how come it's a spam platform? kindly elaborate.
Cause the ultimate in automation is always one person messaging everyone.
An HR company going and pinging everyone with the job opportunities for example.
If one company has exclusively it's worth a lot to them and they are less inclined to use it wrongly.
If 100 companies have access better spam to the max fast before the others cause this ship is going down.
Say you get 100k users and each wants to hassle what 1k contacts a month, you be creating 100m low quality events on the platform. Think this won't get picked up?...
You don't know lazy / low ethics marketers/sales people, keep on you path, you'd meet them.
Once you allow cheap access to create many messages / events without reasoning, filters, accountability with option to spread a message and especially links, it's a spam platform
i do agree with you that platform can be used to create spam messages, etc but we have background checks and limits in place in order to prevent spamming, as of now we are not allowing any links in messages that can be sent to users. As of current implementation main purpose is to engage people initially once engagement between 2 people started, automation will stop there.
Other than that we have filters for the users to filter down their results because it's much better to connect with 10 people who might be interested in your offer rather than sending random messages to 1k people.
We are working on preventing spam as much as possible because that was never the purpose of having this platform.

P.s. you also have the same sentence copy pasted twice
And the copy isn't attractive to get people to know why they need this...
which sentence are you talking about?
Capable of running outreach campaigns
thank you for pointing out.
